Feel the burn
I love love love long holiday weekends. It’s hard to go hiking these days because it’s pretty much dark by the time I get home from work…so I took the opportunity to enjoy my Monday off =) Hiking with the kids was a nice lil treat.

Birthday girls
Celebrated Mayan’s 29th and Chris’ 30th birthday at Ra Sushi. I thought the sushi was overrated, but drench a roll in eel sauce, and I’m sure to change my mind.
Mayan and Chris…it’s ridiculous how good we all are together! I love being “that table” with you two =) Happy birthday to two of my favorites!

Woke up early this morning to bid my parents good-bye before they left for Monterey, CA. It’s their 31st wedding anniversary and they still look like they have the most fun with one another.

The mister bought me a sticker machine during his trip to SD. I plan to make a bunch of stickers of the lil ones! So far, I’m having a good time with it!
Impulse buy of the week - FUJIFILM Instant Camera. I was downtown and thought I’d stop by Urban Outfitters. I got to play with one at Christmas…and I just couldn’t help myself!

First NYE kiss
The mister came out to San Diego for New Years Eve. Yes, the visit meant taking him to my family party which is crazy nerve wracking for me…but I was happier knowing my first NYE kiss was flying in from Texas. It’s been hard being apart which made it more special for me that he was able to come visit. Can’t seem to shake him off…no matter how far he is…
