So last night, I went to Hustler with Denise. We grabbed a quick bite before and since we hardly ever get to hang out, I agreed to accompany her on her naughty little errand. She’s maid of honor for her friend, Eunice, and they’re gonna get their party on this weekend. I figured, what the hay, I’ve never been there, so there’s no harm in taking a look see =)

Chel came over today to show me her first trial make-up run for the wedding. She tried on the dress to give us the full effect too. So so excited for her.
I was sitting there watching and listening to my mom put her two cents in…how she prefers more color in the make-up and asked questions about what jewelry she plans to wear…and couldn’t help but wish that she had her mom...
50% chance...yikes.
Within the past few years, I’ve seen 5 sets of my aunts and uncles go through divorce. I mean, what is that? Unveiled sexual orientations, adultery, or the loss of love for your partner…I’ve seen it all. Should be enough for me to pick the single life over marriage any day, right?

Went to Lake Pleasant, AZ for camping this holiday weekend. I love these guys! We all go way back from high school…and even though we’ve all gone our separate ways, it still feels like yesterday whenever we get together =)

Love exists
Today marks 30 years of love for my parents. I’ll have to say, looking at so many other couples at this age, it really is a miracle to find love. Not just ”I like hanging out with you” love…or “You make me weak in the knees” love. But the all-consuming, dedicated, ”can’t live without you” kind of love.
